Outdoor classroom - Movie

 On outdoor classroom day we went out the back to make movies about hut making.  

We learned about making movies with friends, and that movie making is harder than writing stories.

It was easy to keep the bug still when we were showing the bug.

It was hard to  keep the water to stay in the hole, and it was hard to keep the iPad still.

I liked it because it was very fun with my group and we made a cool hut.

 I worked with Oriana and Taysia. we made a Matariki slide about language features like Nouns,verbs.Adjectives,Adverbs.here is our work.

Photo Challenge

I have been learning about taking photos on an iPad.  We were learning about the rule of thirds.  The rule of thirds is it were you put the subject on the side.  We also got to look at different photos and see how different angles create different stories for the same subject (what we are taking a picture of).

I liked taking pictures of the front of the school, and taking photos from different angles.  The picture I liked best is the second one because its in the front of the school.

Digital Artwork

This term we have been learning some new techniques for creating digital art pieces. Here is my artwork from this term. 

I like my pop art because I like kiwifruit and poppy.

 I like my kiwi texture because the tree looks real.

I learnt how to trace around pictures to make the right shape.

Hut Movie making

 In Team Awa we had an outdoor learning day. We got to go outside and make huts around the back. We were leaning about how movie making is like writing a story and that we needed to take different types of movie shots. Here is some examples of what I learned.
