Pet Day - Learn Create Share.

 Last week we had Pet Day at school.  As part of our reading and writing  we got to get creative about what we know about looking after animals.  Here is the work I created.  I worked with Cairo.  I enjoyed writing about animals.  I think what I created will be useful for kids to learn how to look after their animals.

A few weeks ago, instead of our camp to Coopers Beach, we went on a day trip to KawaKawa and had a sleepover at school. Our awesome parent helpers came along to supervise us. Here is a letter I wrote to say thank you.

 

Caving and Glow worms work

We learned lots when we were on our camp and wanted to Share these with Team Maunga before they go on their trip.  For reading and writing we have been busy creating things to help Team Maunga.  Here is my work

Vaseline Saucer

For pet day 2021 we created Vaseline Saucers.  We made a design and thought about symmetry and patterns.  Then on Pet day we used our designs to help us with creating our work.  Here is my DLO for my Vaseline Saucer.

 Last week we visited the Life Education Caravan.  We were learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and Resilience.  Here is a google draw we made up to help us think and remember what resilience is.
